THE DETAILS
We’re still hammering out the final details and we’ll keep you updated on progress, but below is a broad sketch of what we expect to put together depending on final numbers of team entries:
- Tournament entry will be £12 per player with a minimum of 10 players expected per team - with additional player and spectator tickets available to be purchased at £12 per player or spectator (spectators wishing to leave post tournament and not wishing to enter the festival will not be charged)
- First tap off around midday
- 2 grass pitches, full time referees (no requirement for player referees)
- Mixed tournament 4 male + 2 female format
- Minimum age 14 on the day of the festival
- Tournament time between 3 and 5 hours - anticipate around 5 games per team
- Changing facilities and showers will be available post tournament
- A shuttle bus will be provided to and from Nailsea and Backwell station to the ground to facilitate those wishing to travel by public transport
- Parking available near to the site
- Tournament cost will include entry to the Nailsea and Backwell Beer and Cider festival https://www.nailseabeerandciderfestival.co.uk/
- Festival entry includes a free commemorative glass and your first drink
- Food will be available to purchase within the Festival site at extra cost
